Questions
Does TabLock send my data anywhere?
There is no account or analytics. Free use and daily license checks are local. When a paid key is activated, the extension sends only the signed license key and a random installation ID to enforce the one-installation limit. It never sends browsing history, page contents, passwords or lock records.
What if I forget my password?
Use your recovery key to set a new one. With no recovery key you can request a delayed reset, which erases the lock after a waiting period (and warns you if it wasn't you).
Is it unbreakable?
No — TabLock is a privacy screen. It keeps casual onlookers out, but someone with full access to your unlocked browser profile can remove the extension. Use a strong password and your OS account lock too.
What happens if my yearly license ends?
Your existing locks keep working exactly as before. You just can't create new Pro locks until you renew.
Can I use one license on several computers?
Each Pro license is bound to one installation. To move to a new computer or browser profile, contact support to release the old activation. Business licenses are per seat.
